Every subject and every session is different. I customize my pricing to fit you. As we begin the process, I’ll work with you to understand your expectations and hopes for your session experience and results. I offer both thirty minute and hour sessions, and event pricing. I also offer options for prints and artwork, custom album design, in-home gallery design, and a custom, personalized mobile app of your session gallery highlights.

My approach to a couples session is different from my approach to an intimate family session, where a shorter session time may be a better selection with smaller children involved — which makes things all the more fun. An extended family session will often yield more photo combinations than both, and are better scheduled for an hour. Maternity sessions are often thirty minutes long, emphasizing your comfort level, while longer senior portrait and engagement sessions allow for multiple outfit changes and background movement. And, I do happily photograph dogs in family sessions — just let me know!

I accept a small number of wedding and event photography requests per year.

Included in your package pricing is a meticulously edited gallery of downloadable images, without pre-set deliverable limits -- a difference in the industry. That means every great shot that comes out of my camera goes to you. For me, it's a matter of artistic pride and a desire to share something beautiful. For you, it's a cherished memory.

    The process begins with your email detailing preferences.

    I'll work with you to confirm a date and location, usually outdoors. I'll send you a contract and deposit invoice once we confirm.

    I'll ask you about the photo subjects, any special requests or requirements, and get to know you a bit more. We'll plan for a convenient location and setting, and I'll offer outfit and other suggestions.

    I'll confirm the session with you a few days ahead, keeping a close eye on weather and lighting. The session itself will be part of the memory! I'll shoot with multiple lenses against a variety of backgrounds.

    Post-session, I'll get to work carefully editing. You'll receive a gallery and, should you choose, high-quality prints or an album from a for-trade partner. You'll be able to choose if you'd like a gallery app or a print gallery as well, among other take-home options.
